House of Hayvn

Trust, plainly

Choosing who to talk to is a big decision. Here is what you can check, and how we work, in plain words.

Who we are

An ordinary company, openly run.

House of Hayvn Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, Company No. 17350355. Its registered office is 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. It is owned and run by Haroon and Rya Sadiq.

Therapy

Rya Sadiq

  • A qualified psychotherapist, trained in cognitive behavioural therapy
  • A member of the BACP and the BABCP
  • Works to the BACP's Ethical Framework
  • Takes her work to supervision, where cases are discussed without identifying you
  • Sees clients privately

You are welcome to ask Rya about her training and membership before you begin.

Coaching, mentoring and speaking

Haroon Sadiq

  • Years of coaching and mentoring colleagues in a large corporate environment
  • Mental Health First Aid (MHFA England), safeTALK and ASIST certifications
  • Completing a Level 5 professional coaching qualification

Coaching and mentoring are not therapy, and they are not licensed professions in the UK. That is why we are open about our training and about what coaching can and cannot do.

How we work

Honest about fit.

  • We tell you plainly if we are not the right people to help, and where else to look
  • We keep coaching, mentoring and therapy separate, and do not blur one into another
  • We do not promise outcomes, and we never pressure anyone to begin
  • Any kind words on this site are real, in the person's own words, and shared with permission
  • We are not an emergency service. See Crisis Support

How we protect your privacy and keep people safe

If something goes wrong

Tell us first.

If you are unhappy with anything, tell the person you are working with, or write to [email protected]. We will acknowledge your message within five working days, listen properly, and tell you what we will do about it.

For Rya's therapy work, you can also raise a concern with the BACP, whose professional conduct process applies to its members.

Your information

Handled with care.

Read how we handle personal information on our privacy page, and how we work to make this site usable by everyone on our accessibility page.
